ADA-71937 Proposal to Extend a State Airport Land Lease at Barrow Airport

The Alaska Department of Transportation & Public Facilities proposes to extend Lease ADA-71937 (Lot 2, Block 700), consisting of approximately 37,950.60 square feet, at Barrow Airport for an additional five (5) years. Applicant: ASRC Properties, LLC. Annual rent: $8,235.28 and any other associated fees. Authorized uses: aeronautical – Operation and maintenance of facilities associated with Lessee’s air taxi service, including handling and storage of air freight; parking, maintenance and service of Lessee’s aircraft; parking for employees and customers outside of secure area. This is an application filed under AS 02.15.090(c), which allows the Department to grant the proposed lease term extension without competition. Written comments must be received by 4:30 p.m., December 19, 2025, after which the Department will determine whether or not to extend the lease.
