Pre-Advertising Notice - DPW- AFRD Vehicle Repairs

The City of Atlanta, on behalf of the Department of Public Works (DPW) and the Atlanta Fire Rescue Department (AFRD), will shortly undergo a Prequalification process toward the procurement of vehicle maintenance and repair services from multiple vendors. This initiative aims to ensure the operational readiness and reliability of AFRD¿s diverse fleet, including fire engines, ladder trucks, rescue units, and support vehicles. Interested vendors will be required to demonstrate their capabilities in providing comprehensive vehicle diagnostics, preventive maintenance, emergency repairs, and parts replacement. Specific requirements, including service response times, certifications, and equipment standards, will be detailed in the pre-qualification document. The City expects selected vendors to have experience with emergency response vehicles, maintain compliance with NFPA and DOT standards, and offer on-site and off-site service options and are encouraged to prepare for this upcoming solicitation process.
