INVITATION TO BIDNotice is hereby given that the City of Kent, Washington, will receive sealed bids at the City Clerk’s office through November 4, 2025, up to 11:00 a.m. as shown on the clock on the east wall of the City Clerk’s Office on the first floor of City Hall, 220 4th Avenue South, Kent, Washington. All bids must be properly marked and sealed in accordance with this “Invitation to Bid.” Bids must be delivered and received at the City Clerk’s office by the above-stated time, regardless of delivery method, including U.S. Mail. All bids will be opened and read publicly aloud immediately following 11:00 a.m. for the City of Kent project named as follows:Blue BoyReservoirVent ReplacementProject Number:  W20079The City Clerk will read the bids out loud from the Clerk’s office. Individuals can stand in the lobby outside the Clerk’s office during the bid opening to hear the bid results.The project consists of removal and disposal of the existing vent and furnishing and installing a new vent, all in accordance with the attached Contract Plans, these Contract Provisions, and the Standard Specifications.The City will make the project site open to contractors interested in bidding this project on October 29, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.The project site is located at 11302 SE 236th Pl. Climbing the water tank will not be permitted. City staff will be present only to provide access to the site; not to answer questions or provide information.The Engineer’s estimated range for this project is approximately $80,000-$100,000.
