M. Agnes Jones Elementary School HVAC Upgrades

Maxair Mechanical, LLC has entered a contract with Atlanta Public Schools (APS) as Construction Manager at Risk, and we are seeking competitive bids for the building HVAC improvements and renovations at M. Agnes Jones Elementary. Please accept this invitation to price the construction/renovation work related to your trade. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Anticipated Start Date: May 25th, 2026. Anticipated Completion: July 24th, 2026 Project Area: 92,000 sqft PRICING NOTES / INSTRUCTIONS: ¿ There is (1) set of drawings. Please provide adequate pricing to perform your entire scope of work within the scheduled duration of this project. Please provide an alternate cost to perform your scope of work during the summer of 2027. ¿ The majority of Construction will take place during Summer of 2026. Maxair will also utilize breaks and holidays for scheduled construction. Please provide an add alternate if both phases of construction are to take place across two Summers. ¿ No Construction will be performed while students and staff are in the building. ¿ This project will be bonded. Please provide your company¿s bond rate as an alternate. ¿ Please provide a Certificate of Insurance (COI) with your sealed bid. ¿ Required subs include Cleaning, Fire alarm, Sprinkler, Drywall, Ceiling tile, Flooring, Roofing, Painting, Concrete, Masonry and MEP trades. When made available, please read, fill out, sign and return the scope sheet for your respective trade. ¿ APS and Maxair are strongly encouraging all Minority, Women, or Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (MWDBEs) to participate. ¿ Davis-Bacon wages are NOT required. ¿ All mechanical equipment will be pre-purchased by Maxair. ¿ Installing Mechanical and Electrical Contractor shall warrant pre-purchased equipment for a period of one calendar year. ¿ APS policy requires that all contractors, consultants, or vendors providing services on APS premises be fingerprinted and submit to a criminal record check initiated by APS prior to providing service
