2026 - 2028 Electric Distribution R/W Maintenance

Sealed Proposals for 2026 - 2028 ELECTRIC DISTRIBUTION R/W MAINTENANCE for the BOARD OF WATER, LIGHT AND SINKING FUND COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF DALTON, GEORGIA D/B/A DALTON UTILITIES (¿Owner¿) will be received in the Auditorium of the Dalton Utilities¿ Administration Building at 1200 V.D. Parrott Jr. Parkway at 10:00 A.M. local time Monday, December 8, 2025 at which time they will be publicly opened and read. If submitting by mail send sealed bids to PO Box 869 Dalton, GA 30722; Attention: David Keaton Work Scope: The project will consist of, but is not limited to, a contract that will be signed on or about, Monday, December 29, 2025 after the bids have been reviewed and evaluated. Official contract start date will be Monday, January 5, 2026 and will continue through December 31, 2028. Work will include forty (40) hours a week labor, excluding holidays and inclement weather. Contractor will be responsible for having equipment and tools required for the R/W maintenance of overhead electric distribution lines. Consisting of, but not limited to trimming and removal of trees, brush, vines, and hedges that may interfere with electric distribution lines and associated equipment, communication lines, and street lights. Contractor will be expected to work safely around 7,200/12,470 and 14,400/24,940 primary voltage and 120-480 secondary voltage
