Integrated Utility Software Solution

The City of Rocky Mount’s Energy Resource Department is seeking proposals from qualified software vendors to provide a comprehensive, integrated software solution to support Electrical Distribution Engineering, GIS, and Utility Operations. We are currently operating on the ESRI ArcMap platform and are looking to upgrade to a modern solution without losing the capabilities provided by our current vendor. The selected vendor will deliver a system that enhances operational efficiency, supports mobile field access, integrates with existing infrastructure, and aligns with the City’s long-term digital transformation goals. Project Objectives • Improve accuracy and efficiency in electrical distribution design and staking • Enable real-time and offline mobile access for field crews • Modernize GIS capabilities and migrate from ArcMap to ArcGIS Pro • Provide basic outage and ticket management tools • Integrate with AMI metering, SCADA, and other third-party systems • Deliver a hosted IVR system for enhanced customer communication • Ensure secure, scalable, and user-friendly system deployment
