2026 Local Street Milling and Resurfacing Project RFP

The Charter Township of Meridian is requesting bids for the construction of the 2026 Local Street Milling and Resurfacing Project. Bids for the construction of the Project will be received at the Charter Township of Meridian Municipal Building located at 5151 Marsh Road, Okemos, MI 48864 until Thursday, January 29, 2026, at 11:00 AM local time. At that time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. The Project includes a variety of road improvements including cold milling, grading, HMA paving, cement stabilization, and sanitary structure rehabilitation on approximately 3.75 miles of local roads in the Charter Township of Meridian, Ingham County, Michigan as noted in the Bid Documents and Supplemental Specifications. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a unit price basis. Sealed bids bearing the Project name as well as the name and address of the bidder shall be submitted to the Charter Township of Meridian Clerk’s Office located at 5151 Marsh Road, Okemos, MI 48864. Information and Bidding Documents for the Project will be available on Thursday, January 8, 2026 and can be found at the following designated website: http://www.abonmarche.com/bids. There is no fee for registration on the plan holder’s list and download of electronic bidding documents. Hard copies are available from the Issuing Office of Abonmarche, 940 Monroe Ave NW, Suite G157, Grand Rapids, MI 49503 (616) 349−8010. The fee for obtaining hard copy documents is Twenty-five Dollars ($25.00). An additional Ten Dollars ($10.00) will be charged for plans requiring shipping. General Specifications, description and conditions upon which the bid proposal is to be based are on file for examination at the Issuing Office. A certified check, cashier's check or bid bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid, made payable to The Charter Township of Meridian will be required with each bid as security for the proper execution of the contract. A 100% Labor, Material, Lien and Performance Bond will be required of successful bidder. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of ninety (90) days after the scheduled opening without consent of the OWNER. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive any informality in bidding or to accept the bid, consistent with law, which best serves the interest of the Owner.
