Notice of Utility Tariff FilingThe REGULATORY COMMISSION OF ALASKA (Commission) gives notice that Golden Valley Electric Association, Inc. (GVEA) filed TA399-13, a revenue requirement study, depreciation study, cost of service study, and rate redesign based on a 2024 test year. GVEA requests approval of the permanent rates effective January 15, 2026. If the Commission suspends the tariff revision for further investigation, GVEA requests a 7.4 percent increase to utility and demand rates effective January 15, 2026, on an interim and refundable basis pending approval of permanent rates. A selection of the current and proposed rates are shown in the table below. The Residential Time of Use Pilot Program will be available to not more than 500 residential members and provides for different utility charges during three periods of the day.This notice does not contain all requested revisions and the Commission may approve a rate or classification that varies from those proposed.
