Notice of Utility Tariff FilingThe REGULATORY COMMISSION OF ALASKA (Commission) gives notice that Golden Valley Electric Association, Inc. (GVEA) filed TA399-13, a revenue requirement study, depreciation study, cost of service study, and rate redesign based on a 2024 test year. GVEA requests approval of the permanent rates effective January 15, 2026. If the Commission suspends the tariff revision for further investigation, GVEA requests a 7.4 percent increase to utility and demand rates effective January 15, 2026, on an interim and refundable basis pending approval of permanent rates. A selection of the current and proposed rates are shown in the table below.
