Description
The City of Gaithersburg (“City”) is issuing this Request for Proposals (RFP) for surveying and engineering design services for preparation of complete IFB (Issued for Bid) documents for the design of a shared use path connection for approximately 0.9-mile (10-Feet Wide) that connects Olde Towne Gaithersburg to Washington Grove. The Consultant shall be proficient in the services listed in this RFP and shall bring an experienced and expert staff to the contract to complete the design of the path project. Consultants interested in being considered must submit a complete Standard Form (SF) 330 concurrent with the technical proposal. The planned shared use path will start approximately 385 feet east of the intersection N. Summit Avenue and E. Diamond Avenue with a new crosswalk, then continuing east along E. Diamond Avenue/Washington Grove Lane/ Railroad Street, then continuing along Railroad Street to the path terminus in Washington Grove.
