Santa Fe Trackbed to Park Conversion Remediation, Demolition and Perimeter Fencing

The City of Berkeley is soliciting invitations for bid (IFB) for the Santa Fe Trackbed to Park Conversion Remediation, Demolition and Perimeter Fencing project, which consists of the removal of contaminated soil left behind by the site’s historic railroad use, demolition of existing encroaching structures, demolition and clearing of the site, including tree protection and removal, import and installation of clean soil fill, and construction of new fences along the property lines. Engineer’s estimate is $1,560,000. The specifications and selection process are summarized in this invitation for bid (IFB).Bids must be received no later than 2:00 PM on Thursday, December 4, 2025.
