Description

The Town of Prospect is seeking proposals for property tax assessment services for the tax years 2026-2028. These services include various assessing duties, insurance requirements, and responsibilities of both the assessor and the Town. Proposals are due December 1, 2025. Proposals will be opened and reviewed at the regularly scheduled Select board meeting on December 3rd, 2025 at 5 pm. The Town of Prospect is seeking proposals for property tax assessment services to include but not limited to preparation and timely filing of assessment documents, abatement and supplemental tax assessments, yearly appraisals as needed, market analysis, data entry, and consulting as necessary. The contract begins January 1, 2026, and ends December 31, 2028. With the authority of the board of selectman and in agreement with assessors agent, the contract may be extended for additional three year terms. Duties to include, but not limited to: Assessor agent shall provide a copy of their insurance certificates, along with the bid packet to be reviewed by the board.
