Coyote Springs Test Well

The work includes drilling one (1) 22-inch exploratory well hole for the purposes of estimating aquifer yield, hydraulic characteristics, and water quality to a depth of approximately 720 feet.  It also includes installation of an 8-inch casing with five segments of stainless steel screen with gravel pack at strategic depths targeting five (5) production zones. Construction also includes the placement of five (5) 2-inch piezometers on the outside of the 8-inch casing with varying depths targeting the same five (5) production zones. Testing will include isolating each of the five production zones in the 8-inch casing, performing five (5) 24-hour pump tests, and managing the control and disposal of pump test water. Each of the five (5) zones to be tested exhibit to some degree artesian pressures that will need to be controlled by the Contractor. After testing is complete the 8-inch casing shall be abandoned in place.
