Description
The Massachusetts Department of Environmental Police (OLE) is soliciting proposals (RFP #BD-26-1042-OLE-OLE01-121326) for a vendor to provide Large Animal Chemical Immobilization Training. The purpose of this training is to equip Environmental Police officers with the necessary knowledge and skills for the safe and effective chemical immobilization of large animals.
The scope of the project includes developing and delivering a comprehensive training program that covers relevant topics such as: pharmacology of immobilizing agents, safe handling and administration techniques, species-specific considerations, monitoring of immobilized animals, and emergency response protocols.
