Massachusetts Environmental Police Large Animal Chemical Immobilization Training

The Massachusetts Department of Environmental Police (OLE) is soliciting proposals (RFP #BD-26-1042-OLE-OLE01-121326) for a vendor to provide Large Animal Chemical Immobilization Training. The purpose of this training is to equip Environmental Police officers with the necessary knowledge and skills for the safe and effective chemical immobilization of large animals. The scope of the project includes developing and delivering a comprehensive training program that covers relevant topics such as: pharmacology of immobilizing agents, safe handling and administration techniques, species-specific considerations, monitoring of immobilized animals, and emergency response protocols. Key requirements include: * A detailed curriculum outlining the training program's content and methodology. * Qualified instructors with demonstrated experience in large animal chemical immobilization. * Provision of all necessary equipment and materials for the training. * Compliance with all relevant state and federal regulations. * A bidder response form and checklist must be completed.
