Backhoe Loader

Sealed bids will be received by the Burke County Board of Commissioners at the Burke County Courthouse, 602 Liberty Street, Waynesboro, Georgia 30830, Attn: Merv Waldrop, until 12:00 PM (Noon) on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, for the purchase of one (1) loader backhoe meeting the following minimum specifications: front bucket 86 inches with a 4-in-1 clamp bucket; rear bucket 24 inches; extend-hoe rear boom; front bucket single-lever control with a thumb switch for clamp operation; open ROPS operator's station; diesel engine of at least 100 HP; front wheel assist (MFWD); operating weight of at least 15,000 lbs; and rubber outrigger pads. The unit must include all operator, repair, and service manuals in paper form, as well as complete warranty information and the delivery timeframe submitted with the bid. Bids must be sealed and clearly marked on the outside of the envelope: "LOADER BACKHOE BID - ROADS AND BRIDGES - November 5, 2025." Late bids will not be accepted.
