AI AND MACHINE LEARNING TOOLS FOR SEWER COLLECTION SYSTEM ANALYSIS

To evaluate and assist in managing the operation of the districts wastewater collection system. Work includes Identifying locations where inflow and infiltration (I&I) enters the sewer system and providing a ranking of flow meters exhibiting the most significant impact; Identifying and alerting flow meters in the collection system where flows have deviated from expected patterns, indicating that a wastewater collection system blockage may be developing or that a flow meter may require maintenance; and Displaying and storing this information on user-friendly dashboards to allow for real-time response and efficient analysis. The Districts are also interested in tools that can Integrate with InfoWorks ICM flow modeling; Predict the response of the sewer system to impending storm events and provide insights to inform operational decisions; Integrate additional data sources to visualize flow control devices and active construction projects; and Provide other AI/ML capabilities that assist the Districts with wastewater collection system management.
