NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS/ PROPOSALSFOR PROFESSIONAL CONSTRUCTION ENGINEERING SUPPORT SERVICESFOR HSIP 11B: SIGNALIZED PEDESTRIAN CROSSING UPGRADESSTATE PROJECT NO: HSIPL-5430(040)CITY PROJECT NO: C08755The City of Cathedral City (City) is requesting qualifications and proposals from professional consultant companies (companies) to provide construction engineering services, pursuant to State-funded Highway Safety Improvement Program (HSIP) project requirements. The Project is the HSIP 11B: Signalized Pedestrian Crossing Upgrades, State Project No. HSIPL-5430(040), CIP No. C08755. The scope of construction engineering support includes construction management, labor compliance monitoring and enforcement, inspection, and material testing.The full content of the Request for Qualifications and Proposals (RFQ/P) is available through the Cathedral City website for the Engineering Department atwww.cathedralcity.gov/engineering. Any addenda will also be posted on the website. All companies intending to submit a proposal for this contract are encouraged to register on the project’s "List of Interested Proposers". This list will be used to distribute any project updates, addenda, changes or responses to written inquiries and will be distributed to all interested companies. Accordingly, companies should take note that multiple factors, as identified in the RFQ/P, will be considered by the Evaluation Committee to determine which proposal best meets the requirements set forth in the RFQ/P document. PRICE IS NOT EVALUATED AS PART OF THE EVALUATION CRITERIA. The City reserves the right to negotiate the terms and conditions of any resulting contract. The final contract award, if any, will be made by the City Council of Cathedral City. The selected company will be required to comply with all insurance and license requirements of the City.DEADLINE:All proposals must be received by the City of Cathedral City, located at 68700 Avenida Lalo Guerrero, Cathedral City, CA 92234,no later than Monday, October 13, 2025, at 11:00 AM Local Time.The receiving time in City Hall will be the governing time for acceptability of Proposals. Telegraphic and telephonic Proposals will not be accepted. Reference the RFQ/P document for additional dates and deadlines.
