Description
The Hawaii Department of Transportation (HDOT) is soliciting proposals for the Culvert Crossing Assessment Program (CCAP) on the Island of Oahu, RFP number HWY-O-CCAP26-01. The purpose of this program is to assess the condition and performance of culvert crossings within the state's transportation infrastructure on Oahu.
The scope of work includes, but is not limited to: detailed field inspections of culvert crossings, data collection and analysis, and the preparation of comprehensive reports documenting the condition, structural integrity, and hydraulic capacity of the assessed culverts. It also entails development of recommended maintenance, repair, or replacement strategies based on the assessment findings.
Key requirements include experience in civil engineering, bridge/culvert inspection, hydrology/hydraulics, and report writing. Offerors must comply with all applicable state and federal regulations, including Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) requirements, as outlined in the attached DBE Special Provisions document. The proposal must adhere to the guidelines provided in the "Guidelines for Preparing Consultant Proposals for Highways Division Projects" document.
