Request for Proposal (RFP) 2025-10-0004 DNR Forestry Crew Facility - Palmer

The Department of Transportation & Public Facilities (DOT), Division of Facilities Services (DFS), is soliciting approximately 15,000 to 20,000 square feet of usable indoor heated space to accommodate storage, garage, office, and fire crew readiness space, plus approximately 1,200 square feet of covered outdoor area and approximately 20,000 square feet of outdoor area to be used for training and exercise for the Department of Natural Resources, Division of Forestry and Fire Protection to be located near Palmer, Alaska. Proposals must be received no later than 2:00 P.M. Alaska Time (AT) on September 5, 2025, as indicated by email timestamp. Proposals must be submitted via email. Mailed, hand delivered, oral or faxed proposals are not acceptable.The TECHNICAL PROPOSAL and the PRICE OFFER PAGE must be saved as a separate PDF document and emailed to michael.burkhead@alaska.gov as separate, clearly labeled attachments, such as “Offeror A-Proposal.pdf” and “Offeror A-Price Offer Page.pdf” (Offeror A being the name of the offeror). The email must contain the RFP number in the subject line. Late proposals will be rejected and deemed non-responsive.The maximum size of a single email (including all text and attachments) that can be received by the state is 20mb (megabytes). If the email containing the proposal exceeds this size, the proposal must be sent in multiple emails that are each less than 20 megabytes and each email must comply with the requirements described above.Please note that email transmission is not instantaneous. The State recommends sending your proposal ahead of time to ensure the email is delivered by the deadline for receipt of proposals.It is the Offeror's responsibility to contact the Contracting Officer at (907) 269-8408 to confirm that the proposal has been received.
