NOTICE OF INTENT TO ISSUE UPLAND MINING LEASES The Alaska Department of Natural Resources, Division of Mining, Land and Water hereby gives notice that the locator listed in this notice has recorded a mining location on land in which the mineral holds the mineral estate. The locators have applied with the state to covert mining claims into upland lease or to renew pre-existing upland mining leases under AS 38.05.205(a) and 11 AAC 86.305.Holders Steve Sneed of PO BOX 111971 Anchorage AK 99511 Renewing Upland Mining leases ADL 26835 located in Township 29 North, Range 8 West, Seward Meridian, Section 30, SE1/4 of the SW1/4 and the NE1/4 of the SW1/4. Containing Approximately 80 acres.and ADL 26836 and newly created ADL 234716 located in Township 28 North, Range 8 West, Seward Meridian, Section 6, NE1/4 of the NE1/4 and the SW1/4 of the NE1/4.Containing 40 acres eachHolder Michelle Stevens PO BOX 133661Trapper Creek AK 99683: ADL 674066 is to be renewed and amended to include mining claims ADLs 508044-48 and ADL 508077-78; Peters Creek 85-87, Peters Creek 97-98 and Peters Creek 76-77) Seward Meridian 29 North, 9 West in section 25 and 32 containing 480 acres more or less. The following Upland Mining Leases are to be renewed: ADL 674061: Seward Meridian 29 North, 8 West, in sections 28, 32, and 33 containing 480 acres more or less.ADL 674063: Seward Meridian 29 North, 8 West sections 31 and 32Lease acreage is approximately 360 acres ADL 674067: Seward Meridian 29 North, 9 West, in sections 25 and 26, containing 200 acres more or lessPrior to issuing a mining lease, the state is required to issue a newspaper public notice of the leasing action and determine if there are any conflicting mineral right interests. Unless the Division of Mining, Land and Water is notified of conflicting mineral right interests, a lease will be issued to the locator below, 30 days or more after the date of this notice.Mining lessees have the exclusive right of possession and extraction of locatable minerals subject to AS 38.05.185 - 38.05.275. Leases are issued for the term it takes to mine and are renewable if necessary. The lease will require mandatory rent and production royalty requirements. Once the lease is issued, the lessee must obtain all required permits before exploration or mining can occur.
