Box 2846, Palmer, Alaska 99645-2846, (also known as 11101 E Larose Rd. and MSB Parcel ID 50179), applied for a permit to appropriate water on February 19, 2025 (Priority Date). The application proposes the following: The withdrawal of up to 86,400 gallons per day from April 1 thru December 31 of each calendar year.The proposed purpose of use is for “Property Protection” to counteract the seepage of water into Mr. Harpsters’ residential basement. The proposed place of use is the property located on 11101 E Larose Rd. and the property located south of 11101 E Larose Rd. and identified as 11001 E LaRose Rd. and MSB Parcel ID 68286. Said properties being located within Township 18N, Range 2E, Section 19, Seward Meridian.Per AS 46.15.133 (a), within 15 days of publication or service of notice, persons may file with the director written objections. Comments or objections must be made in writing to the above listed address or to henry.brooks@alaska.gov by 5:00 p.m. May 12, 2025. Objections must include the objector’s name and address, and any facts tending to show that the rights of the objector or the public interest would be adversely affected by the proposed appropriation. Please note that this proposed water use is subject to the final court decision regarding Superior Court Case 3PA-23-01939CI. The ruling on this case is expected no later than August 2025.
