Deep Injection Well (DIW) Phase II Improvements (W2313F)

The Town of Jupiter (Town/Owner) is seeking proposals from qualified, experienced and licensed contractors in the State of Florida to furnish all labor, equipment and materials necessary to modify the Town of Jupiter Water Treatment Plant’s waste disposal facilities and related ancillary systems, as required, to make new deep injection well (DIW) and dual zone monitor well (DZMW) systems operational. The work will include, but not necessarily be limited to, construction of separate nanofiltration concentrate (NFC) and reverse osmosis concentrate (ROC) pumping systems each consisting of three (3) pumps with electrical, controls, stainless steel manifold piping and valves, modification to an existing filter backwash disposal system, construction of underground pipe modifications and valves to route NFC, ROC and backwash waste flows to an existing and new DIW, construction of two (2) sample pumps for an existing and new DZMW with electrical, controls, stainless steel piping and valves, modifications to an existing building intended to house the ROC pump station including roof improvements, new air conditioning system, lighting and electrical improvements, installation of one (1) 2,500 gallon double wall poly tank with stainless piping and eductor neutralization system, two (2) air conditioning cooling water circulation pumps with associated wall mounted 4” and 6” PVC pipe, relocation of an existing door, and related appurtenances as depicted on the contract drawings, technical specifications and as described herein. Proposals received will be evaluated by a Selection Committee based on contractor qualifications, experience, project approach and cost as described by the RFP Documents
