Description

St. Lucie County Environmental Resources Department (ERD) is seeking qualified contractors to submit proposals for permit and construction of a prefabricated 40’ x 52’ pavilion located at the Richard E. Becker Pre-serve, 3398 Selvitz Rd., Ft. Pierce, FL 34981. The purpose of this project is to (1) permit and construct one 40’ x 52’ prefabricated pavilion which is required to be constructed on a concrete slab and follow manufacturer recommendations for anchoring and any necessary footings. Concrete will need to be cut to relieve any future cracks and will be approved/verified by the Building Official at final inspection. Wood shall be pressure treated outdoor grade, and (2) outfit the pavilion with ceiling fans, lights, and stonework (around base of uprights -picture included). An electrical subpanel and water supply will be readily accessible. The contractor is responsible for all necessary work to complete the job that is required, including but not limited to, permitting, site prep, transporting prefab pavilion materials approximately 4 miles from stored location (ERD Field Office located at 3915 Sunrise Blvd., Ft. Pierce, FL) to Richard E. Becker Preserve, unloading materials, concrete work, piling placement, and all testing needed for this job. Site prep includes any fill or materials needed to meet elevation and compact standards as defined in development code. The contractor will need to provide all anchor bolts and templates, deck and fascia nails. Project must meet all Federal, State, and Local codes and permitting requirements. ALL PLANS MUST BE APPROVED BY St. Lucie County Environmental Resources Department before proceeding to permitting
