Description
MES is seeking the services of a Contractor qualified in aerial application of an approved wetland safe glyphosate herbicide to control the invasive reed P. australis at any of the MES sites in this solicitation for each year of service (2025, 2026, and 2027) as requested by MES. The Hart-Miller Island Dredged Material Containment Facility (HMI) is an island located in the Chesapeake Bay, approximately one mile east of the mouth of the Back River in Baltimore County, Maryland. The Paul S. Sarbanes Ecosystem Restoration Project at Poplar Island (Poplar Island) and Coaches Island are islands located in the Chesapeake Bay, approximately one mile west of Tilghman Island in Talbot County, MD. The Mid-Chesapeake Bay Island Ecosystem Restoration Project at Barren Island (Barren Island) is located within the Chesapeake Bay, approximately one mile west of Upper Hoopers Island. Other MES managed sites as needed through coordination and mutual agreement
