Description
The FEMA funded project consists of evaluating, rehabilitating, reinstalling, and placing into service two (2) existing raw wastewater pumps in Pump Building No. 1 at the Bergen County Utilities Authority (BCUA) Wastewater Plant in the Borough of Little Ferry, New Jersey. The pumps to be evaluated, rehabilitated, reinstalled, and placed back into service are the pumps labeled as 1-5 and 1-6. Pump 1-6 shall be repaired first. Once it has been accepted and returned to service, pump 1-5 will be evaluated and repaired. Existing pump motors are not included in this evaluation or rehabilitation and are to remain onsite. Motors will be deenergized (lock out tag out) by BCUA operations
