Public Safety Report System

The Office of Court Administration (OCA) is a state agency in the judicial branch that operates under the direction and supervision of the Supreme Court of Texas and the Chief Justice. Texas Code of Criminal Procedure Article 17.021 requires OCA to maintain a public safety report system that generates a public safety report for review by magistrates when setting bail for defendants charged with a Class B misdemeanor or higher category of offense. The contract currently in place for OCA’s public safety report system expires on August 31, 2026, and may be extended for up to two additional 24-month periods. OCA invites submissions of offers, in compliance with the requirements and terms set forth in this Request for Offers (RFO) for the continued operation of a public safety report system and related services (System)
