Description
St. Lucie County, Florida is accepting applications for a Special Magistrate to serve as an alternate/backup to the Code Enforcement Board (CEB), as authorized by Chapter 162, F.S. The powers and duties are set forth in Chapter 1, General Provisions, Article II, Code Enforcement of the St. Lucie County Code of Ordinances. The special magistrate shall have all powers necessary to conduct any hearings and assess fines. St. Lucie County, Florida is also accepting applications for a Special Magistrate to serve as an alternate/backup to the current Board of Adjustment (BOA) Special Magistrate. The powers and duties are set forth in Land Development Code Section 12.04.00 and such other matters as the Board of County Commissioners may assign by ordinance, resolution or otherwise. The special magistrate shall have all powers necessary to conduct any hearings or appeals assigned
