Description

The City of Woodstock, Georgia, herein referred to as the City, is accepting bids from qualified contractors for the purpose of improving pedestrian access and safety by constructing new sidewalk infrastructure along Dupree Road, hereinafter referred to as the ¿Project¿. This project will be a collaborative one with Cherokee County and will create a safe and accessible connection by way of installation of sidewalk/ trail segments along Dupree Road from Market Street to the eastern edge of the I-575 bridge. The City of Woodstock has received Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds from Cherokee Country as a pass through the U.S Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) from the implementation of public facility improvements by installing sidewalks/ trailways in an LMI area for safer, easier access to vital destinations for this project
