Description

The City of College Station (“the City”) invites qualified contractors to submit a bid response for tree planting and irrigation installation services. As a part of the Cooling College Station Heat Island Mitigation Initiative, the selected contractor will plant and install irrigation for 484 30-gallon treesat eleven (11) various parks and city properties. A Pre-bid Meeting will be held at City of College Station, City Hall locatedat 1101 Texas Ave S., College Station, Texas in Finance Conference Room 2, 3rd Floor at 2:00 p.m. CT on Thursday, August 07, 2025. This meeting is not mandatory, but attendance is highly recommended.The City of College Station will provide all trees; the contractor will transport trees from three central sites to the location to be planted via theplanting plan. The scope of work includes all labor, materials, equipment, and services necessary for, performing all operations in connection with installation of trees and irrigation. The City will accept electronic bids or hardcopy (original) bids. Bids received after the specified submission deadline will not be accepted. ***Five (5) percent bid security is required***
