Description

Project A ¿ Hamilton Boulevard Realignment The project consists of the demolition and relocation of approximately 386 linear feet of 24-foot-wide local street along with milling and new overlay of the remaining 1,259 linear feet of existing roadway. The street construction includes asphalt paving and concrete curb and gutter. Utility work on the project includes replacement of the existing 18-inch storm pipe system and two catch basins and installation of approximately 1,661 linear feet of 12¿ C900 PVC water main and related appurtenances. A new 5-foot-wide sidewalk is to be constructed on the relocated section of the street and along the remainder of the existing street totaling 1,435 linear feet. A Contech steel pedestrian bridge with concrete abutments will be constructed for a sidewalk creek crossing.Project B ¿ Hamilton Boulevard Overlay The project also consists of approximately 1,440 square yards of milling and paving on Hamilton Boulevard east of Memorial Drive to the City of Griffin city limits. The milling and paving includes thermoplastic striping and minor concrete work at driveways.Project C ¿ E. College Street Sidewalk The project consists of the installation of approximately 2,450 linear feet of 5-foot-wide sidewalk and related grading. The construction driveway will require modifications on College Street and removal of shrubs and trees
