NOTICE TO BIDDERS 1111391 Texas Parks and Wildlife Austin Headquarters (HQ) – Fire Alarm and Security System Upgrades Bids for the above project will only be accepted from Contractors when submitted to the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department using the online Bid Portal hosted by Trimble Unity Construction (TUC) (formerly eBuilder ®). Bids will be accepted by the Contracting Branch, Infrastructure Division until 2:00 PM, July 30, 2025, at which time the bids will be opened and read. Bids will be opened virtually at 3:00 PM CT, July 30, 2025, using Microsoft® Teams. Bidders as well as the public may join the meeting to observe the bid opening. Bids can be withdrawn and resubmitted untilthe bid opening time shown above.For informational purposes, project plans and specifications can be downloaded directly from the bid portal.General Scope ofWork:Furnish all labor, equipment, materials, and incidentals necessary to provide repairs, expansions and upgrades to the security and fire alarm systems at the Austin Headquarters Complex. The project includes requirements to repair and replace some exterior doors for fire code compliance, increase capacity of the key card access reader system, upgrade outdated key card access software which manages the user database, replace any defunct security camera equipment and integrate all security elements into a single system that is viewable in the Building B security office and via remote login at Texas Parks and Wildlife Austin Headquarters (HQ) located in Travis County, Texas. The Engineer’s Probable Opinion of Cost ranges from $1,180,000.00 - $1,245,000.00. Project Schedule:All work shall be completed within two hundred seventy (270) calendar days commencing on the date specified in the Notice to Proceed. This performance period includes completing the various aspects required to complete the Work, including submission of all Submittals, mobilization, procurement, installation, testing, inspection and delivery of documents described in the Uniform General Conditions, Article 12,12.1.1.1. This project does not have Federal Aid funding. All bids must be submitted on the forms furnished for that purpose, and each proposal must be accompanied by bid bond in an amount of not less than (5) percent of the total bid amount. A photocopy of the bid bond may be uploaded through the Bid Portal.
