PUBLIC NOTICEADL 422579U.S. Air Force Subject to AS 38.05.850, the Northern Regional Land Office has received an application for the following:APPLICANT: U.S. Air ForcePROJECT NAME: ADL 422579GEOGRAPHIC LOCATION: Approximately one mile south of Oliktok Point; within the Kuparuk River Unit east of Drill Site 3Q and west of the Nikaitchuq Operations Center. LEGAL DESCRIPTION: Umiat Meridian, Township 13 North, Range 9 East, Section 8 & 17. REQUESTED ACTIVITY: The Department of Natural Resources, Division of Mining, Land and Water (DMLW), Northern Regional Office received an application from The U.S. Air Force (USAF) for a public utility easement. The applicant has requested an easement approximately 40 feet wide and 400 feet long for a power line to the Oliktok Long Range Radar Station. REQUESTED TERM: Indefinite.DEADLINE FOR COMMENTS: 5 pm on August 15, 2025The public is invited to comment on this activity. The purpose of this notice is to gather input before a decision is made on this activity.
