25-D-00039 Wastewater Pumping Station Rehabilitations Design Services

The City of Tampa seeks Professional Engineering to complete the design for rehabilitation of various small/medium City maintained pumping stations located throughout the City’s wastewater collection system.. The design services shall include, but not be limited to, assessment of equipment replacement needs, determining current and future flow requirements, pump selection and development and analysis of alternatives for pumping strategy, equipment selection and layout, construction sequencing, and associated cost estimates; preparing contract documents for the selected alternatives, including signed and sealed construction plans with electrical instrumentation and controls, specifications, final construction cost estimate, preparation of construction documents for bidding, submittal and tracking of all regulatory permit applications, shop drawing review, and associated activities required during construction. The design services will also include developing a sequence of operation, bypass pumping requirements, and the construction requirements so that wastewater flow is maintained throughout the construction of the rehabilitations.
