State and Federal Governmental Relations Firm

The City of Tavares (the "City") invites qualified firms to submit statements about their qualifications, for the services of being a State and Federal Governmental Relations Firm for the City of Tavares, to the City, in response to this Request for Qualifications (the "RFQ"). Submittals are to be received at the Office of the City Clerk, 201 East Main St., Tavares, Florida, 32778 to be received no later than 2:00 PM on August 22, 2025. Statement of Qualifications (“SOQ”) received after this specified time and date will not be considered. SCOPE OF SERVICES 1. Represent the City of Tavares’s interests with state and federal agencies 2. Develop and execute annual legislative strategies 3. Monitor relevant legislation and regulatory actions 4. Advocate for the City of Tavares’s priorities (list provided below is not final) • Water • Wastewater • Transportation • Grants and Earmarks 5. Facilitate meetings with key legislators and city officials and staff 6. Provide regular updates and reports
