The proposed easement would encompass an existing trail and would originate at the south end of the 100’ wide plated public access easement (page 2 of ASLS 79-120), commonly known as 1408 Road, and terminate at Kenna Lake.PROPOSED ACTIVITY: DMLW is considering granting a 30’ wide public access easement for the requested length.REQUESTED TERM: Indefinitely or until no longer needed.DEADLINE FOR COMMENTS: February 9, 2026 The public is invited to comment on this activity. The purpose of this notice is to gather input before a decision is made on this activity. To ensure consideration, written comments must be received by the Division of Mining, Land and Water at 3700 Airport Way, Fairbanks, AK 99709 on or before 5:00 p.m. on the date noted above.
