Description
Provide qualified and experienced chief negotiator to represent the city in labor negotiations with recognized employee organizations; extensive experience in public sector labor relations and collective bargaining; documented experience serving as the chief negotiator in labor negotiations with recognized employee organizations; direct experience with arbitration, mediation, and fact-finding; experience presenting recommendations and updates to governing bodies such as city councils, boards, or commissions; in-depth knowledge of state and federal labor laws (e.g perb rules). This solicitation has some or all Local funding, additional requirements may apply. The City intends to award an initial five (5) year contract with the option to renew for up to three(3) year options, not to exceed a total of eight (8) years.
