Description

The Town of Dracut is seeking sealed bids pursuant to M.G.L. c. 30, § 39M from qualified contractors for on-call services for repairs of ruptured or leaking water mains, service lines and fire hydrants within the Kenwood Water Distribution System in Dracut, MA 01826. MassDOT prequalification of contractors with the class of work as Sewer & Water, for the project with an estimated value of $298,100.00 is required. This will be a one-year contract with the option to renew for two additional, one-year terms. Awarding Authority reserves the right to extend the contract for two (2) additional 12 month options. Valuation for purposes of MassDOT Prequalification is based on first year times three (3) to arrive at an estimated total value of all bid items. A 5% bid deposit is required with each bid submitted. The IFB is available as of January 28, 2026, via download athttps://www.dracutma.gov/Bids.aspx. . Bids will be accepted at the Dracut Town Hall, 62 Arlington St, Dracut, MA 01826 until February 18, 2026, at 11AM when bids will be publicly opened and read forthwith.
