2025 Sanitary Lift Station Control Upgrade Project

The City of Lockport will receive sealed bids for improvements at multiple outfalls along the I & M Canal in Lockport, IL and includes but is not limited the removal of sections of existing outfalls, placement of reinforced concrete end sections, placement of rip rap at various outfall locations, applicable project restoration and all incidental and collateral work necessary to complete the project all in accordance with the Specifications and Contract Documents for the I & M Canal Outfall Improvements (23-1021). Prospective bidders are advised to carefully review the Plan, General Conditions, Special Conditions, Special Provisions, and Details of this document. A mandatory Pre-Bid Conference of all prospective Bidders and/or their representatives will be held at the City at Lockport Public Works, 17112 Prime Boulevard, Lockport, IL 60441 on March 2, 2026 at 10:00AM. A presentation of the project and Q&A will run from 10:00AM to 11:00AM. A site visit to the Division Street WWTP (425 Division St, Lockport, IL 60441) will follow immediately after from 11:00AM to 12:00PM. Bidders are required to attend and participate in the conference.
