Description

Sealed bids for the construction of Street and Drainage Improvements will be received by the Pierce County Board of Commissioners for the County's FY2023 CDBG project at the Board of Commissioner's Office, 312 Nichols Street, Suite 5, Blackshear, GA 31516 until August 21, 2025 @ 2:00pm, at which time and place they will be publicly open and read. All work on project must be complete within 180 executive calendar days of Notice to Proceed date. Plans and specs may be obtained from Statewide Engineering, Inc., 516 East Ashley Street, Douglas, GA 31533, (912) 384-7723 for $200.00 for full printed set or $50.00 for emailed PDF format. Plans are also on file at the Pierce County Commission office for view only. All bidders must receive bid package from the engineer to be considered certified, or will otherwise not be considered. Contractors should submit all questions to Mr. Mark Dill via email or fax by Aug. 18, 2025 at 9:00am (mark.dill@swecivil.com, Fax No. (912) 383-6895). Pierce County is committed to Affirmatively Further Fair Housing. This project is partially funded by a Community Development Block Grant and is covered under the requirements of Section 3 of the HUD Act of 1968. This contract is a Section 3 Covered Contract, and Section 3 Business Concerns are encouraged to apply.
