Historical Salvage Requirements3.1 Salvageable ElementsThe following items (including but not limited to) must be salvaged and delivered to the designated storage location:• Architectural elements, specifically:o Travertine cladding (including commemorative plaque)o Reinforced concrete Y columnsA detailed inventory with photographs and item descriptions is included in the plan set.3.2 Handling and Protection• Use precision demolition methods around designated salvage items.• Protect elements from moisture, mechanical damage, and theft.• Secure all salvaged items for secure transport and inventory tracking until transferred to the CMAR.Operations, Environmental, and Safety ComplianceComply with FAA airspace safety protocols (e.g., Notice to Airmen, obstruction clearance).Follow OSHA and local safety regulations during demolition.Use dust suppression and debris containment to minimize environmental impact.Coordinate with airport operations and safety officers to schedule and secure the site.Site RestorationRemove all demolition debris.Site foundation is to remain in place.Restore any disturbed adjacent areas, including fencing or pavement, to original condition.DeliverablesInventory list of salvaged historical elements with condition reportsFinal demolition report including disposal manifests and site restoration detailsDelivery and receipt confirmation for salvaged items
