NOTICE TO BIDDERS
Notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be received by the Florence Fire District at its offices at 401 Firehouse Lane, Florence, New Jersey 08518 on:
Friday, February 27th, 2026 at 2:00 p.m., prevailing time for the following:
FIRE HOUSE – MINOR RENOVATION PROJECT (BATHROOM UPGRADES)
Bidders are required to submit their bids on the Bid Proposal Form, which are available from the Office of the District Administrator during normal business hours.
The maximum delivery of the successful bid shall be 120 days from the date of award, no exceptions.
The Bid Specifications and accompanying forms and required submissions are on file in the Office of the District Administrator and are available for pick-up. Bidders are to submit bids in accordance with the Specifications, without material exception.
The District reserves the right to accept the lowest bid(s) or reject all bids, in the sole discretion of the District.
The District seeks to accept or reject the bid or bids at meeting prior to the close of March 9
th
, 2026; however, pursuant to law, the bids shall remain open and the District shall have up to sixty (60) days to accept or reject. If the District does not act within sixty (60) days, said bid(s) shall be deemed to have been rejected.
All bidders and bids are subject to the following: Bids must be made on the standard bid form in the manner designated in the bid documents and must be enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the name and address of the bidder and the name of the contract identified on the outside, addressed to the District Administrator, Florence Fire District, 401 Firehouse Lane, Florence, New Jersey 08518. The signed bid must be delivered to the place indicated on or before the date and hour named above. Late bids will not be accepted or considered. The District assumes no responsibilities for bids mailed or misdirected in delivery.
Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of P.L. 1963, C.150; P.L. 1975, N.J.A.C. 17:27, N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq., P.L. 1977, C.33; P.L. 1999, and with C.238. According to 40A:11-23, the District is prohibited from receiving bids on Mondays or any day directly following a State or Federal Holiday. These requirements and others are fully detailed in the bid documents.
The District reserves the right to reject any and all bids or any part thereof, waive informalities therein, and to award the bid in the best interest of the District.
