Attached is the RFQ for the upcoming ACM Clean Up Project for 509 Vienna Street contract for Finger Lakes DDSOO. OPWDD is soliciting bids from responsible and qualified MWBE, SDVOB, or NYS Small Business contractors to provide ACM Clean Up for OPWDD. References and applicable insurances are required. Finger Lakes DDSOO intends to award the contract to the most responsible and responsive bidder that provides the lowest cost. Prevailing wage will apply. If you are interested, please submit1 original copy of the RFQ Cost Proposal Page(s)along with1 original copyof all the mandatory supporting documents.Quote Submissions are due by December 18, 2025, no exceptions. A Mandatory Site Visit has been scheduled for10:00am on December 03, 2025, any interested contractorMUSTattend the Mandatory Site Visit in order to submit a quote. Pre-registration or advanced confirmation is not required. Please plan to meet at the loading dock on the north side of 509 Vienna Street, Newark, NY 14513 at the scheduled date and time. The Contract and its subcontractors must be registered with the New York State Department of Labor (NYSDOL) and submit their Certificate of Contractor Registration at the time of the bid submission for any Article 8 Project. Pursuant to its discretionary authority under Article 15-A and 17-B of the New York State Executive Law and State Finance Law section 160(8) – Empire State Development Corporation CertifiedMinority or Woman Owned Business (MWBE), New York State Office of General ServicesService-Disabled Veteran Owned Business (SVDOB), orNew Yok State Small Businesses only. Please provide a copy of your firm’s certification documents when submitting a quote. State Finance Law 160 (8), defines the terms “small business concern” or “small business“ as a business which is resident in New York State, is independently owned and operated, is not dominate in its field, and employs one hundred (100) or less persons. References, experience, financial resources, and applicable insurances are required. The bidder or its principals must be able to provide at least three (3) references (Name, Title, Phone Number, and Email Address) associated with three (3) different projects (OGS, public, or private sector) of similar scope and size to the one identified in this RFQ that can provide evidence of the Contractor having experience in related work. The Bidder will be required to comply with all local, state, and federal laws, regulations, and ordinances governing the performance of Asbestos Abatement. The Contract will be awarded to the responsible and responsive bidder that provides the lowest Total Cost for ACM Clean Up Project for 509 Vienna Street. Prevailing wage will apply to this contract.
