Work includes sanitary sewer reconstruction. Disturbed areas on drivable right-of-way shall have 95% compaction. The surface shall be restored using crushed concrete or rock containing up to 50% crushed asphalt (rap). 1" aggregate may also be used. For manholes removed, manholes abandoned or for frame and cover replacements, the old manhole castings shall be salvaged, cleaned and delivered to the sewer maintenance yard.
