Description

The Department is seeking a ninety-five (95)-bed co-located residential program for youth appropriate for residential placement with sixty-three (63) high and maximum-risk beds for males, between the ages of fourteen (14) and twenty-one (21) who need Mental Health Overlay Services (MHOS) or Substance Abuse Treatment Overlay Services (SAOS), and thirty-two (32) high-risk beds for males, between the ages of fourteen (14) and nineteen (19), who need Borderline Intellectual Functioning (BIF) Services or Developmental Disability (DD) Treatment Services. Program services are to include innovations in delinquency programming and treatment services, as described in Attachment A, Services Sought, Attachment A-1, Health and Nursing Services, the Mental Health Overlay Services (MHOS) Attachment, the Substance Abuse Treatment Overlay Services (SAOS) Attachment, the Borderline Intellectual Functioning (BIF) Services Attachment, the Developmental Disability (DD) Services Treatment Attachment, the Academic Services Attachment, and the Career and Technical Education (CTE) Services Attachment. The Department shall allow for the flexibility of beds, based on the Department’s needs for treatment services. The program shall be in a Department-owned building located at 2330 New Beginnings Road, Kissimmee, Florida 34744, in Circuit 9 of DJJ’s central region, or a Respondent-owned/leased building located in the State of Florida.
