The City of Berkeley invites qualified contractors to submit bids for theAdeline Street Landscaping Improvements Project, Specification No. 26-11768-C, in Berkeley, CA 94703. The project scope includes, but is not limited to: California Contractor License required: Class A - General Engineering Contractor Engineer’s Estimate:$322,000 Plans and Specifications: Plans and Specifications are enclosed and available on the City of Berkeley’s website atBid & Proposal Opportunities | City of Berkeley (berkeleyca.gov). Planholders List: Bidders are responsible for notifying Csilla Kenny, via email atCkenny@berkeleyca.govto be included on the Planholders List. Please include the following in the email subject header: “Planholders list for Specification No. 26-11768-C for Adeline Landscaping”. In the body of the email, please state the Company Name, Name of the Company Representative, Address, Telephone Number, Fax Number, and Email Address. Pre-Bid Site Conference: A non-mandatory pre-bid site visit will be held at the southeast corner of Adeline Street and Alcatraz Avenue at the Ms. Richie and Friends of Adeline Native Garden at10:00 AM on Thursday, December 4, 2025.Prospective bidders are strongly encouraged to attend and/or visit the project site prior to bidding. The location of work is fenced, and not fully open to the public during normal business or daylight hours, limiting access to review the site independently. The City retains the right to award all or parts of this contract to several bidders, to not select any bidders, and/or to re-solicit bids.
