Addictions Peer Support Specialist

Provide Addictions Peer Support for the Behavioral Health Department including support individuals through treatment including engagement, advocacy, outreach/identified peer support services to assist clients in their recovery journey; travel to 4-5 villages as part of a team to provide outreach, engagement and training to community members on recovery from methamphetamine and opioids; partner with Treatment Team and clients to assist clients in achieving identified goals; assist clients with navigating behavioral health, education, court systems, and other social services to manage and overcome barriers; plan and facilitate engagement activities for clients and their families; facilitate individual and group counseling; may work a flexible work schedule including evening hours to meet client needs; thoroughly and accurately document all encounters in the electronic health record This solicitation has some or all Local funding, additional requirements may apply.
