Description
The Township of Sparta is soliciting proposals through a fair and open process in accordance with N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.4 et seq.Sealed RFP responses will be received by the Town on December 2nd, 2025, by 10:30am prevailing wage time at 65 Main Street Sparta, New Jersey 07871 at which time and place the sealed responses will be received for the following: RFP #25-02 for PLANNING BOARD PLANNER and PLANNING BOARD ATTORNEY for the Sparta Township Planning Board for the calendar year 2026. RFP responses must be made on the standard proposal forms, be enclosed in a sealed package bearing the name and address of the respondent, and the “RFP TITLE NAME & RFP #” on the outside, addressed to Christy Rehe, Purchasing Agent and SENT TO THE CLERKS OFFICE at 65 Main Street Sparta, NJ 07871.All successful vendors must comply with all applicable New Jersey purchasing statutes as follows: Business Registration Certificate (BRC), W-9 Forms, AA302 Form - Affirmative Action Laws – N.J.S.A. 10:5-31, N.J.A. C. 17:27 The Township of Sparta reserves the right to award this quote excluding the indicated option or at its discretion to not award any quote as received. This bid has been advertised in accordance with the “Fair and Open Basis” and nothing further shall be required under the Pay-to-Play Legislation (N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.7). If the proposal is sent by overnight or express mail, the above designation SHALL also appear on the outside of the courier company envelope. Specifications and instructions may be obtained.Any RFP Addenda will be issued on the Township website, www.spartanj.org and processed in accordance with N.J.S.A. 40A:11-23(c)(1). All interested respondents should check the website from now through RFP opening. It is the sole responsibility of the respondent to be knowledgeable of all addenda related to this procurement.
