The Jackson County Board of Commissioners will be accepting sealed proposals for Construction of the Jackson County Emergency Medical Services Headquarters & Station 2 until Monday, December 8, 2025 at 10:00 AM. At that time, the sealed proposals will be opened and read in the Finance Conference Room of the Jackson County Administrative Building at 4965 Jackson Parkway, Jefferson, Georgia 30549. Bids received after the due date and time will not be accepted or considered. One original and three copies of the bid must be submitted in addition to an electronic copy stored on a USB thumb drive. A 5% bid bond must be submitted with the bid. Performance and payment bond in the amount of 100% of the contract price will be required if the contract is awarded. A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be located at 519 Panther Drive, Jefferson, GA 30549, at 11:00 AM on November 20, 2025. Interested vendors are required to attend without approved absence. All questions must be received in writing by Friday, November 28, 2025 at 5:00 PM to Kenneth Morris, Purchasing Manager at kmorris@jacksoncountygov.com and Barry Vickery, Project Manager, bvickery@jacksoncountygov.com.
