INVITATION TO BID 2025 Houston County Safety Action Plan Project Bid No. 26-08 HOUSTON COUNTY GEORGIA Sealed Bids will be received at the Houston County Public Works Department, 2018 Kings Chapel Rd. Perry, Ga. 31069 until 10:00 AM Friday, February 6, 2026 for the following project: Striping of various roadways in Houston County totaling 35 miles. Bid and Contract Documents are available at the Houston County web site https://www.houstoncountyga.gov/business/current-bids.cms . Houston County reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive technicalities. The bidder¿s E-Verify Number shall be marked on the outside of the bid envelope. A completed ¿E-Verify Affidavit for Road Construction¿ shall be included with the bid. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in the amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the Total Base Bid. Performance and Payment Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the total contract amount, will be required of the successful bidder. Bonds must be written by an acceptable Surety Company licensed to do business in the State of Georgia and listed in the Department of Treasury, Circular 570, latest edition. A mandatory pre-bid conference is scheduled for Wednesday, January 28, 2026, in the Houston County Public Works Office, 2018 Kings Chapel Road, Perry, Georgia. The meeting will begin at 10:00 AM.
