North Weld County Water District is seeking water line boring for canal crossing improvements.

Description

Horizontal boring at the county canal crossing including approx., 310' of 14" by 0.375" steel casing pipe and approx., 369 LF of 8" C900 DR 14 restrained PVC water line from sta. 29+07 to sta. 32+76. Construction of the 8" AWWA C900 DR14 restrained polyvinyl chloride (PVC) water line and associated appurtenances (valves, fittings, etc.) will be done through conventional open trenching located on either side of the county canal crossing in the associated plans. Installation of two five-foot diameter manholes with gate valves. Installation of two blowoff valve assemblies. Related items necessary to facilitate the complete installation of water lines including testing, dewatering, and surface restoration. A mandatory pre-bid conference for the Project will be held at NWCWD, 32825 County Road 39, Lucerne, CO 80646 on Wednesday, November 5, 2025 at 10:00 AM., Local Time. Bids will not be accepted from bidders that do not attend the mandatory pre-bid conference. Questions received less than 7 days prior to the date for opening of bids will not be answered. Bidders shall send detailed questions to engineer via email only to Tyson Dutton (tdutton@trihydro.com); with a copy (cc) to Loren Eldridge-looker (leldridge-looker@trihydrocom). This solicitation has some or all Local funding, additional requirements may apply.
