Description
project includes soil remediation activities at a former UST location via excavation, transport, and landfill disposal of contaminated soil. Due to the proximity of underground utilities, a previous UST excavation backfilled with stone, and the current location of operating USTs, the soil excavation may be accomplished using a combination of heavy equipment, air knife, manual digging, or a combination of these methods.
A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at 135 West Grand Lake Blvd, West Chicago, Illinois, 60185 at 10:00 AM on Friday, January 16, 2026. This project has a "prevailing wage" requirement. All questions shall be submitted in writing by 12:00 PM on Tuesday, January 20, 2026. Additional POC Valeria Perez, executive officer manager.
